Story was good, charming atmosphere and level design. I would have had more fun engaging in combat with enemies if there were a roll dodge mechanic as well as a little more variety to the encountered monsters, though for a demo it is really well put together. I was salty about where the demo ended as I wanted to know more!!

I play your game (and a couple others) and provide feedback in my video below. You and friends can also vote for your game on my youtube channels community page in the competition for best indie horror game of january. I'll be 3D printing a scene or monster from the winners game to give to the game dev.

Thanks for the kind words and feedback! I do want to mention that this is ultimately a first year student project made for a university assignment in about 2 months. The goal was never to make a fully fledged game, but rather a chapter of a potential game.

I think we were in talks about implementing a roll mechanic, and we initially had a dash ability, but we wanted the player to feel less powerful against the enemies and the environment to make it a more frightful experience and result in more stressful enemy encounters.

We also had talks about more enemy varieties and a sort of mini-boss where the credits came in, but time constraints left us with a simple skeleton and a cliffhanger.

Thanks again for playing! :D
